Thank you for your interest in presenting at the California Kindergarten Conference (CKC). CKC has a strong reputation for offering high-quality, engaging sessions to our attendees. The contribution of presenters is extremely valuable and we look forward to your application.

Proposals will be evaluated on the overall quality and timeliness, relevance to developmentally appropriate practices, and practical application. Preference will be given to practitioners who work directly with children.

The CKC Screening Committee will not accept proposals that are primarily designed to market products, services, books or curriculums.

When is the deadline to submit a proposal?

The online application deadline is Wednesday, April 30th at 11:00 p.m.

How will I know my proposal was successfully submitted?

You will receive an automatically generated email confirmation from CKC once your proposal has been submitted.

Once I submit my proposal, will I have an opportunity to make any changes?

Yes, you can log in using your email and password at any time before the deadline and make changes.

How long are the sessions?

All sessions are 75 minutes in length.

What are the benefits to presenters?

Presenters will receive a small honorarium and complimentary conference registration. They will gain visibility and recognition by their peers and have the opportunity to contribute to their profession.

What AV will be provided?

If ordered, CKC will provide wifi for presenters in their presentation room, a screen and an LCD projector.. Microphones will be provided for large sessions. All other AV equipment is the responsibility of the presenter. You are welcome to bring your own equipment or rent from the conference AV provider.

When will I know if my proposal is accepted?

You will be notified by the CKC Screening Committee in mid June.
